Modern Terra Cotta Houseplant Pot
The supplies you will need for this project are:
Craft foam sheets
Scissors
Glue (Any kind, I use Elmers.)
4-6 inch terra cotta pot (Or whatever size pot you want!)
Spray paint. (If your pot is going to go outside, make sure to get an outdoor spray paint.)
First, cut out different geometric shapes from the foam sheets. You can do any design you want. I chose random geometric shapes for a modern look. The foam will give the 3D raised look on the pot.
Tip: It’s easier to begin by planning your design on a flat surface.
Once you get into the flow of things, you can start gluing the pieces of foam directly onto the pot! Make sure to glue all foam corners down securely.
When the glue is dry, you can spray paint the pot and water dish with your desired color. I love this Matte Iced Gray, and I use it for everything!
See, I told you this was easy. High five sister!
Until next time,
Always + Whatever
