Mummy PopTart Pastries
Y’all know I love my seasonal pop tarts. These Mummy PopTart Pastries are the cutest Halloween treats and they taste great! I can be picky, and if things are too dry, I won’t just choke them down. LOL. So, I love really love these because they have less crust and a good amount of yummy filling.

Let’s get started.
Ingredients:
Store bought pie crust
Berry jam or pumpkin pie filling
Edible eyes
1 egg, for egg wash
Frosting (optional)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 1:
Unroll pie crust. Cut the round edges off, making a square. Then cut the square into 6 rectangles.
Step 2:
Cut the leftover pieces of crust into strips and set them aside.
Step 3:
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Place crust rectangles onto the pan and add a dollop of jam to each. Spread the jam in an even layer, leaving a 1/4-inch border on the edges.
Step 4:
Place the leftover crust strips from step 2 across each rectangle, in a mummy-like fashion! You can add as few or as many as you want. You can also use the second pie crust to cut more strips.
Step 5:
Brush on your egg and add cinnamon sugar if you’d like!
Step 6:
Bake for about 8-10 minutes. Keep an eye on them!
Step 7:
After baking, place your edible eyes. BOOM, you just made the cutest little mummy treats!
Step 8: (Optional)
You can coat the mummy bandages in vanilla frosting to really give them the mummy look! I usually add frosting to a couple.
Yay, I love these so much! I hope you love them as much as I do. I enjoy making some with jam and some with pumpkin. ‘Tis the season. I also ALWAYS dip each bite in cool whip. HAHA yes, you read that right.
Creep it real friends!
