Dill Party Crackers
If you’re new here, you might not know about my recipe for party crackers. This recipe is a bit different than the original, but just as delicious. It gives me an excuse to use dill, which is one of my favorite ingredients of all time. I love dill in any form – fresh, with pickles, dried, or in seed form. It always adds the flavor I want and crave. No, I'm not pregnant, just a big dill lover!
This dill party cracker mix is grade-A delicious. LOL, not sure what that even means.
Let’s begin.
Ingredients:
2 boxes Premium Original Mini Saltine Crackers, 11 oz
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1-2 tbsp dried dill
1 packet ranch seasoning
1 tbsp pickle juice
Tips to mix it up:
Use a variety of snacks like regular sized Saltines, mini club crackers, oyster crackers, Cheez-Its, Goldfish etc.
Use spicy pickle juice or add chili flakes for a little kick.
Use fresh dill if available.
Step 1: Add all crackers to a large mixing bowl. If using a variety, gently mix together until evenly distributed.
Step 2: In separate bowl whisk together butter, dill, pickle juice and ranch packet.
Step 3: Pour butter mixture over crackers and gently toss to coat the crackers without breaking. It's okay if a few break, it happens.
Step 4: Transfer to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or baking dish.
Step 5: Bake at 270 degrees (lowest my oven will go) for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool completely before serving and storing.
Store in an airtight container. These will keep for about 7-10 days (if they aren’t eaten first). I find myself eating these for every meal when I have them around. They are super addictive. You’ve been warned!
I hope you love these. Tell me all about your variations please. I love to mix things up!
Don’t forget you are a big DILL.
Keep shining bright + stay cool <3
Always and Whatever
