Apple Flower Tarts

YUM

These are so freaking cute. We had extra granny smith apples so we got creative. There’s not much to say other than, holy moly. I had no clue tarts were this simple. I am intimidated by everything that happens in the kitchen LOL

Let’s get started:

Ingredients:

-2 Granny Smith apples

-1 sheet of frozen puff pastry

-Jam (of your choice)

-6 pan muffin tin

Optional: Sprinkle sugar on top

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Step 1:

Remove apple core and slice very thinly in half circles.

Step 2:

On a lightly floured surface roll out puff pastry sheet in to a rectangle and cut 1.5-2inch stripes.

Step 3:

Lay out a strip of puff pasty, brush jam onto puff pastry. Use the jam as glue.

Step 4:

Working on the strip horizontally, place apple slices so that overlap one another and peak out slightly on the top of the pastry. Fold the Bottom of the pastry strip to just cover the bottom of the apple slices. Push pastry down to adhere the apples to the pastry.

Step 5:

Starting from one end loosely roll your apple pastry strip into a rose and place directly into a muffin tin. By rolling loosely it gives the pastry room to expand while baking.

Optional: Brush jam onto the top and sprinkle sugar

Step 6:

Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown on the underside.

Step 7:

Cool before sprinkling with powder sugar and serve.

Add a dollop of cool whip!

These are the coolest thing ever. You’ll definitely get called a show off for these. You don’t have to tell anyone how easy they are! LOL

Are you surviving this holiday season?

I am! But def a little tired! Anyway, have the best day.

Always and Whatever

Xo
